HireTrack and RentalDesk?

have in the production business?
- How often does Navigator Systems update your software?
Unlike other rental software systems HireTrack was developed
specifically for the production rental industry, and has all the
tools a busy event/staging company needs. These functions include
creating production quotes, inventory management, labor scheduling,
transportation documentation, job costing & profitability.
Designed to work the way most companies work, HireTrack is very easy
to understand and most users can create an quote in only a few
minutes. HireTrack is a program that is rich in features, and will
in fact grow with your business to any size. Since implementing any
new system is the most challenging aspect of growth, we have
designed HireTrack to be very flexible to adapt to your company's
specific needs.
While performing the same function (rental inventory management),
each program is designed for different markets. RentalDesk works
great for just about any rental business, while HireTrack is
targeted to lighting/sound & Audio/Visual businesses. HireTrack's
equipment packaging is quite a bit more extensive and also includes
labor management & transportation modules. For a more extensive
explanation, visit our
comparison page.
Does RFID really work?
Yes! RFID has been around for quite awhile. However, it has been
costly, and the tags have been intrusive & fragile. The "Flash of
Genius" for Navigator Systems came when we took existing low cost
technology and adapted it to work in the harsh & rugged environment
of stage production. The tags are small, rugged and easily
concealed, but most importantly... they work.
Why do I need support?
Support is critical, since our support services go beyond
technical help. Our experience in the business has proven invaluable
to our clients. Support is an insurance policy and an investment
that is a "no-brainer" when measured against the level of service
you receive.
The combined experience in the entertainment rental business is
over 100 years. We have done shows, load ins, slept under stages and
we "get" the stress of the business. In fact, some of us still go
out and do a show a couple times per year! We have designed a
software system that works the way you do, and we would use in our
own business if we were still in the business.
We release updates to the software as they become needed. We
typically release maintenance fixes every other month, and we have
major updates about every 18 months. We are committed to constantly
updating and improving our software. When you buy HireTrack, you are
getting more than just software, you are getting a commitment.
